Experience Works Launches Blended Learning Program

Experience Works Columbus GA BLTP Graduation December 2014
After the launch of Experience Works’ newest program, the first two classes in Arkansas and Georgia completed the nine-week course and received certification as customer service representatives. Watch this report on the Georgia graduation

The Blended Learning Training Program (BLTP) combines virtual instructor-led occupational training courses with computer-based and online training tools, complementing the community service work experiences for Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) participants, while leveraging existing training resources, and creating more flexible and personalized learning options that are more adaptable to the needs and preferences of older individuals.

Experience Works was awarded an incentive grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to fund the BLTP, which will be implemented on subsequent dates in Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas.
